Uneven double eyelids

Postby pinkpopcorn » Tue Aug 02, 2011 12:46 pm

Hi!

I have been thinking about getting a double eyelid job for a while. The problem is, I have only one eye with double eyelid, and the other pops out once in a while. So sometimes I end up looking very sleepy. Is there any way I can fix it permanently without it looking weird? I've seen some bad jobs being done....  anyone can recommend a good dr?

thanks in advance!

hi pinkpopcorn! are you the same gal from FP forums? ;) PM me!

I had the same problem!!! except mine is only on one side and not on the other

It looks like I have one swollen eye and my friends think I got punched *faintz*. I had the scarless double eyelid surgery done and now it's great! Except for the first one month was a little funny coz it was a bit swollen but it has been 3 months and I'm so happy now

PM me if you want the contact :)

thanks for the contact!

but 3 months recovery sounds a little long... does it look unnatural the entire 3 months? like swollen? or does it get better within a few weeks but just not quite back to normal till 3 months?

hmmm... maybe will need to get some nice shades during that 3 months 8-)

Hi,

I'm new here and have been lurking around in FP but do not dare to post, because that forum seems to be overwhelmed by females. I'm a guy and am wondering if you ladies know of any doctors experienced with double eyelids surgeries for guys

Honestly, I think more guys should have their double eyelids done. The problem with single eyelids is that the guys look really sleepy. And not very trustworthy if the eyes are too small....

Hee.. You make me feel so much better. ;)

Let me declare PLASTIC SURGERY SINGAPORE FORUM as the most friendly forum

I tried PM 2 ladies over at the other forum.. Not sure if they think I'm trying to hit on them or what  but they made me feel like a weirdo. One even asked if I'm a trans! and said that guys don't need double eyelids and because of that I dare not post publicly :(

Which clinic did you go to? Mind PM me?

Btw, anyone consulted renown plastic surgeons Martin Huang or Woffles Wu? I read mixed reviews about them.

Celebrity docs! I also read mixed reviews also them. Some say they will make you buy lots of other products during each visits and the products are very exp!

I'm considering JJ Chua. One of my friends says he is highly recommended by Mediacorp celebrities like Quan Yifeng (IIRC).

I spoke to him over the phone (yes, he return calls), but he talk super fast and sound like he is in hurry  and did not provide much information like price. Think this is normal for all docs not to reveal their pricing over the phone and get us to go down?
